User interface design is mistakenly thought of how a website or app look, the graphic design, yet UI design is more than that. It provides the user with the right tools to accomplish their goals. It is a connection between the user and the experience.
Good UI design should strive for a balance between aesthetics and effortless interactivity. User experience UX is the abstract feeling user has from using the website, while UI is what the user interacts with. When designing user interfaces the aim is to create the most positive and enjoyable experience for the user.
UI visual design patterns are recurring solutions that solve common design problems. These patterns are standard reference points for the interface user.
